Service Description

As an educationalist, examiner, a head of year, teacher and tutor in a career of over twenty years, Dr Steve Hannon has helped countless high and mixed-ability learners to achieve and succeed at school, sixth form, college and university. In this seminar, Steve will discuss how parents can empower their children to achieve in education while helping them maintain a sense of well-being. We will consider: • what counts as an educated young person in this day and age? • what is an effective learner? • coaching techniques, • assessment for learning, • alternative action planning, • affective learning, • pastoral care, • well-being.
